Egypt’s OneOrder launches with $1M in initial funding to solve supply chain challenges in the Egyptian food & beverage industry

OneOrder, a logistics company set to solve Egyptian restaurants’ supply chain inefficiencies, announces its launch with an initial investment of $1 million to upgrade the supply chain amongst Egyptian restaurants by allowing restaurants to get all their supplies from a single platform.

The funding round was led by MENA’s leading venture capital, A15

OneOrder is a logistics company addressing the major inefficiencies faced by Egypt’s restaurants when sourcing supplies. Their platform would let Egyptian restaurants buy all their needs from one application, with reliable quality, prices, and timing.

We believe restaurants should be focused on delivering a high-quality experience and service to their customers without having to worry about sourcing and procurement. We are the platform to deliver that.”

~ Tamer Amer, Founder and CEO of OneOrder

This single app and the web-based platform allow them to sidestep many of the pitfalls like non-transparent pricing, unreliable quality, irregular delivery timing, risks of sudden shortages or outages, unnecessary overheads and costs.

“We are excited to partner with Tamer to solve one of the main challenges the Food & Beverages industry faces in the MENA region. By leveraging Tamer’s extensive experience as a successful restauranteur and A15’s history of building scalable technology platforms, we will aim to provide restaurants in the region with reliable, convenient and timely supplies that are consistently priced.”

~ Karim Beshara, General Partner at A15

The proceeds of this initial investment will be used in setting up a platform to address structural challenges facing Egyptian restaurants when sourcing supplies. OneOrder also plans to expand its proposition geographically across the MENA region.
